Boosters Announcements

The next Booster meeting is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 7:30 at Buffalo Wild Wings.


CAR WASH: HUGE thanks to Paula and Jay Sullivan for coordinating a successful car wash on August 23.  Paula produced an excellent day of weather and Jay happily counted money.  Additional thanks to Kevin Polick and Mike McCormick for manning the hoses and keeping the volunteers in line.  Kuddos to Paige Polick for the timely pizza deliveries.  Kids had an excellent time. RAFFLE: The next scheduled fundraiser is the raffle.  We hope to distrubute tickets in early September. Keep checking this site and the twitter feed for more information.

Jaguar Announcements

BUS DEPARTURE TIMES FOR HEMPFIELD: Varsity will depart the High School at 10:00 a.m on Saturday, September 5. Varsity will depart High School at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 6. Please remember to arrive 15 minutes before departure time. THIS IS A VARSITY ONLY TOURNAMENT. 


BOYS SCRIMMAGE: The Boys travelled to Laurel Highlands for the first scrimmage of the season. Varsity prevailed 4-0. A strong defensive effort allowed the offense to unleash.  Cole Lutz (1 goal, 2 assists), Sam Jere (1 goal), AJ Meshanko (1 goal) and Matt Prezioso (1 goal) led the way.

JV was also victorious 3-2. Goal scorers were Kevin Walsh and Preston Lutz (2).

Next scrimmage is SEPTEMBER 1 at Allerdice. This will be a VARSITY ONLY scrimmage.  Check the calendar for details.


LARRY LEGGETT HEMPFIELD TOURNAMENT: The pairings have been announced.  TJ Boys will play defending WPIAL A champion and PIAA runner-up Winchester Thurston on Saturday, September 5 at Noon.  TJ Boys will play Waynesburg on Sunday, September 6 at 11:00 a.m.  Best of luck to the boys as they kick-off the 2015 season in tournament play.

RECENTLY ADDED JV GAME: The JV have added a game against Bethel Park on September 22. Start to be announced later.

Lady Jaguars Announcements

RESULTS: Lady Jaguars kicked off the preseason with a scrimmage against perenial AAA power Norwin on August 24.  After a slow start, the Lady Jags found their legs and hung tough with the Knights.  GK Robin Gelzheiser had an excellent debut in goal. 

The Lady Jaguars will next scrimmage Steel Valley at home on August 31. Be sure to support the girls as they march toward the start of the regulare season.

The 2015 TJ Soccer Banquet will be held on Sunday, November 8th, at 6pm at South Hills Country Club.




Another successful car wash is in the books. Thanks to Paula and Jay Sullivan for all their hard work in coordinating the event. 



It is not too late to sell or place an ad in the media guide. Please contact Brian Kane if you know of any business that would be interested in supporting the soccer program with an ad.

Family fun ads will also be sold. Look for information via email next week.


The next mandatory fundraiser is the raffle sale. We hope to have the tickets ready for distribution by early September. Look for mor information on the website and twitter feed @tjsoccerbooster.
